A Highly Flexible Machine
With the Klondike series, DMS has pulled out all the stops to make one of our most flexible CNC machines. The platform can be reconfigured to function as two, three, or even four unique machines simultaneously. Alternatively, the Klondike can be programmed to pendulum process all four spindles simultaneously.
This level of flexibility amplifies the labor of the machine and makes it much more productive. A lone operator could single-handedly run what is now effectively four machines, all without taking up more floorspace. Whether you plan to multi-task with four spindles, each with a mind of its own, or combine forces to power through a single task, the Klondike is the right machine for the job.
Improved User Interface
The enormous productivity of this machine is only possible because of its improved user interface. Fagor, a longtime partner of DMS, has made a number of advances that we implemented in this series.
We wanted to offer operators an experience that is intuitive and user-friendly. The UI is robust enough to handle multiple operations at once, effectively doubling your output, without sacrificing accessibility. While the Klondike series has a more advanced user interface, it is also easier to use. We expect that most machine operators will be able to learn the new system in a single day!
Faster
The Klondike series has unparalleled production per square unit of floor space. To maximize your output, we’ve increased the feed rates and accelerations, with the X and Y axes reaching 2000 IPM and the Z axis reaching 1000 IPM. All of this leads to reduced cycle times and increased throughput on the machine.
