Machine Spotlight Series – Accurate Pattern in Butler, Wisconsin
Accurate Pattern, Inc. offers CAD/CAM design, tool path, plastic prototyping, digitizing and certification services, since 1985, from its manufacturing facility located in Butler, WI. The company works with a variety of materials including, wood, aluminum, metal, and plastics. Accurate Pattern purchased its second Diversified Machine Systems 5 Axis CNC Machining Center in November of 2012 – a 5O5-10-5-48S DMS Side Wall Machining Center. The photo here shows some of the innovative, cost-cutting, value-engineering features that are possible when working with a custom CNC machine manufacturer like DMS. The owners of Diversified Machine Systems working with the DMS engineering staff suggested to Accurate Pattern that they place their sidewall machining center on elevated concrete platforms in order to increase the clearance underneath the bridge thereby increasing the workspace area to facilitate the cutting and machining of larger projects.
