Refund and Returns Policy

At Diversified Machine Systems (“DMS”), our goal is to provide high-quality CNC machines, parts, and services. We understand that sometimes a return may be necessary. This policy explains when and how returns and refunds are accepted.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Standard Catalog Parts: Unused and unopened parts may be returned within 30 days of
delivery.

Non-Returnable Items:
oElectrical and electronic components

Custom or special-order products
Software or digital goods
Products that have been installed, used, or altered

Condition: Returned items must be in original packaging and in new condition.

2. Return Authorization Required

Before sending any product back, you must request a Return Authorization (RA) from
DMS Customer Service.

Returns without an RA number will not be accepted or processed.

3. Restocking Fees

A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns, unless the return is due to an error on DMS’s part (wrong item shipped, defective part, etc.).

4. Refunds

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method once the item is
received and inspected.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a DMS error.
Please allow 7–10 business days after inspection for refunds to be processed.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

Any damaged or incorrect items must be reported to DMS within 7 business days of receipt.

Claims made after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
 
6. Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error by
DMS.

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. DMS will not accept collect shipments.

Customers are encouraged to use a trackable shipping method and insure the return shipment.

7. Exchanges

If you need a replacement part, a new order must be placed. Returns and exchanges are
processed separately.
