Warranty Policy

Diversified Machine Systems (“DMS”) stands behind the quality of our CNC machines and parts. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a claim.

1. Standard Warranty Coverage
 
All new DMS CNC machines and parts are warranted against defects in materials and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date of shipment.
 
Certain Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) components are covered under their
respective manufacturer’s warranty, which may have different terms.
 
2. What’s Included
 
Repair or replacement of defective parts, at DMS’s discretion.
 
Technical support for troubleshooting warranty-related issues.
 
If repair or replacement is not possible, a credit may be issued.
 
3. What’s Not Covered
 
This warranty does not cover damages or failures caused by:
 
Improper installation, setup, or maintenance, Misuse, neglect, or operator error, Unauthorized modifications or repairs, Normal wear-and-tear or consumable parts (e.g., tooling, belts, filters, lubricants), Removal or alteration of safety devices, Environmental factors (e.g., power surges, improper operating environment)
 
4. Customer Responsibilities
 
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:
 
Follow all recommended installation and maintenance procedures.
 
Perform regular lubrication and care as outlined in the product manual.
 
Use only authorized replacement parts and service providers.
 
5. Submitting a Warranty Claim
 
All warranty claims must be submitted to DMS Customer Service.Defective parts must be returned to DMS freight prepaid for inspection.
 
Upon approval, DMS will repair, replace, or credit the defective part.
 
6. Limitations of Warranty
 
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for defective products.
 
DMS disclaims all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability andfitness for a particular purpose.
 
DMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost
production or profits).
 
7. Service Warranty
 
Preventative maintenance and service work performed by DMS are warranted for 90
days against workmanship defects, unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
