Andrea Cappelletto has taken the lead as the new CEO of Diversified Machine Systems (DMS) and is setting a course for integration and growth. This comes at a key time for the company, as DMS and CMS North America merged sales forces in January 2021.
Decades of experience across several fields have prepared Andrea Cappelletto to take the helm at DMS. When it comes to integrating companies, Cappelletto has a proven track record. In the last five years he oversaw the acquisition of two companies and successfully integrated three companies. Throughout the process of merging HR, sales forces, IT, and more, he worked hard to ensure that things ran smoothly. Cappelletto is confident that the same is possible in the integration of DMS and CMS North America and will work together CMS North America CEO, Carlo Propersi, to make this possible.
“ I look forward to what the future of DMS holds for customers – says Cappelletto – A diversified product line and wider portfolio will make DMS a one-stop shop for people who are looking for the perfect machining solutions. The merger with CMS North America combines the two companies’ sales practices, offering a better experience for the customer”
DMS has been acquired by SCM Group in 2018 and it’s part of the Group Other Materials Division.
Giovanni Negri, director of the Group division, says: “I’m glad we have Andrea Cappelletto on board with us. He has the knowledge, the skills and the right personality to make things happen. I’m sure that DMS future will be bright with him. I want to take this opportunity to thank also Federico Laschet, the previous CEO. He helped us in these two years of transition and did a great job. He will remain with us as advisor and board memebr to support our development” .
